It is not uncommon for the North Central community to see publicity around campus for various art installations. In fact, the Chronicle covers most of them. What some may not realize is that there are differences between all of these shows. North Central College makes its facilities available to house student work as well as professional artists' work.

Zitto e mangiare*! As the words painted on the wall of this small, modern Italian restaurant plainly state: “Shut up and eat!” Fiammé Pizzeria, located at 19 N. Washington St, is a new restaurant to the downtown Naperville scene.

Upon arriving, the first thing to greet a hungry visitor will be the stone pillar capped with real flames. The name of the restaurant (Fiammé) literally translates to “flames” in English- very fitting.

CUAB hosted its annual Springfest celebration on Saturday which featured music from radio station B96, inflatable games, balloon animals and an assortment of prizes. Students enjoyed a beautiful day outside with friends and classmates in a well-presented commemoration to end Cornerstone Week.

This upcoming Memorial Day weekend, the Cardinal Dance Company will have its 6th Annual Showcase.  Cardinal Dance Company was founded in 2007 by Rachel Mitchell, Vicki Pula, Kristen (Arredia) Guido, and Kelly (Carew) Kirchner, when they were only sophomores at North Central.  Since then, the student-run organization has continued to grow and has developed into an entertaining pastime for dancers of all levels.  Each year, the dancers have put on a captivating performance....

The North Central College annual Senior Art Exhibit is back and houses fresh new art from some of the student body’s most talented artists.

Featuring outstanding artwork from 10 North Central graduating seniors, the included pieces incorporate a vast range of nontraditional and traditional styles, including: sketches, paintings, sculptures, ceramics and wirework.

NCC Chamber Singers’ “Metamorphosis” concert was held on Tuesday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m.  in Wentz Concert Hall.
